For one glorious night at The Grove, Die Hard leaves the VHS shelf and storms the big screen like it’s 1988 all over again. Before Bruce Willis gets barefoot with broken glass, limber up with our trivia quiz—your chance to prove that you really do know your McClane from your Gruber.

Our bar staff will be shaking up cocktails with names so audacious they’d make Nakatomi Plaza blush. Think Nakatomi on the Beach and other delights that would loosen even Hans’s tie. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any louder, the speakers will roar to life with a soundtrack of 80s action anthems—enough to get your vest sweaty before the movie even starts.

Fancy dress? Of course. Come as John McClane, Hans Gruber, or even your favourite slightly bewildered hostage. There’s a prize for the best look—though, mercifully, no extra points for actually crawling through air vents.
